Hi! I’m Melissa. And I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a therapist and yoga teacher who holds space for people navigating life’s tender in-between places — the moments when things fall apart or shift direction and you’re not quite sure who you are anymore.

For over 20 years, I’ve walked alongside women, teens, and families as they move through anxiety, burnout, grief, and the deep work of healing. My work is rooted in the belief that growth happens when we slow down and get curious. You don’t need to have it all figured out — just a willingness to begin.

In therapy, I offer a grounded, supportive space where you can speak freely, feel deeply, and grow at your own pace. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and gently shift the patterns that are keeping you stuck. I bring a holistic lens to our work, weaving together a person centered approach with evidence-based practices and somatic tools like breath, movement, and nervous system regulation.

I’m especially passionate about supporting:

  • Women in transition (career, motherhood, divorce, identity shifts)

  • Teens struggling with anxiety, low self-worth, perfectionism or social stress

  • Families facing relational tension or adoption-related concerns

When I’m not in session, you can find me guiding yoga classes that complement the inner work of therapy — helping clients ground their bodies and quiet their minds.

Credentials matter too: I hold a Master’s in Counseling, a Post-Master’s Certificate in Clinical Issues in Adoption, and am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. I’ve been practicing since 2001, with background in crisis intervention and assessment, adolescent mental health and family work. I’m honored to do this work.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, calm, connection, or simply a safe space to land — you’re welcome here.

Hello! I’m Nick. I’m looking forward to working with you.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, behavioral concerns, relationship difficulties, and crisis situations. I believe that every individual possesses the capacity for growth, resilience, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy is rooted in a person-centered philosophy, creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I believe therapy works best when clients play an active role in identifying their goals while working alongside a therapist who provides guidance, support, and practical tools for change.

While the therapeutic relationship serves as the foundation of his work, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients recognize unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, develop effective coping strategies, and build lasting skills for managing life's challenges. I also incorporate psychodynamic principles that encourage reflection and self-awareness, with particular attention to family history, relationships, and experiences that may continue to influence present-day struggles.

I has extensive experience working with adolescents and their families, including more than five years of direct work with middle school and high school-aged youth. I have also worked with individuals experiencing acute emotional distress and crisis in both community and clinical settings. My background in crisis intervention and assessment allows him to help clients navigate difficult situations while maintaining a focus on long-term growth and well-being.

I particularly enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. His work often centers on exploring the impact of family dynamics, relationships, and life transitions on emotional well-being. I am passionate about helping clients build healthier relationships, develop greater self-understanding, and overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem.
